Who am i? My name is Bo. I'm a rider with one hand persuing a dream in becoming a Para Dressage Rider. I truely believe that anything is possible! If one has a dream, then one has to try their hardest to make the dream become a reality. You won't know unless you try!! My goal is to ride Dressage in the Paralympics. And this is my dream!

My disability: I have a congenital disability; my right arm ends at the wrist.
I currently ride with special loop reins that allows me to have a better contact with the horse when riding and also use a prostetic arm at times.

Profiled Grade: 4

Summary of Profiled Riders: Riders with disabilty are usually 'Profiled' for competitions, as each grade is accessed so that riders are competing with those who are of a simular disabilty. The grades begin at 1a and go to grade 4.
(Grade 1a riders have the most severe disability and grade 4 riders the least.)

Riding history: I have been riding since i was 5 yrs of age with Epsom RDA and since 2005 i started my journey in Dressage. I love ridingf and adore learning Dressage! I want to improve more because the more i learn, the more there is to learn! It is fabulous fun! Dressage is extremly challenging, rewarding and a form of art. My Ultimate goal would be to eventually have my own horse to ride. But in the meantime, i am extremely happy and thankful to ride and compete in Dressage Competitions riding EpsomRDA ponies and a borrowed horse belonging to kind Mr&Mrs Hoblyn.

I also have a horse on loan to me called Sam (show name: Farhanhiet ll) He is a gorgeous Irish Sport Horse that is teaching me alot! His owners are the lovely Denny Chandler and Mandy Holloway.
Sam and i have been together since November. We've been taking one step at a time to get to know each other so we started with the walk and trot Dressage tests to begin with. Sam and i are now working Novice /Elementary Dressage

Summary of Dressage: Dressage can be described to some as 'Horse Ballet', as it represents the highest horse training a horse can achieve whilst the rider looks like s/he is doing nothing.
